<h3>ROLE</h3>
<p>The successful candidate will become an integral member of the Midstate Construction team supervising on-site building activities. Midstate&#8217;s market includes multi-family, industrial, office, hospitality, medical, tenant improvements and retail. All building types include new and renovation projects. </p>
<h3>PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES</h3>
<p>-  Site responsibility for on-time, on budget, quality construction<br />
<br />-  Maintain a safe jobsite for Midstate and subcontractor employees<br />
<br />-  Represent the company in job meetings with owners, architects, subcontractors and inspectors<br />
<br />-  Communicate with Midstate office and project manager regarding jobsite requirements to maintain productivity and quality<br />
<br />-  Maintain and achieve project schedule</p>
<h3>EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS</h3>
<p>-  Five years construction experience as a superintendent on projects greater than $5M<br />
<br />-  Ability to communicate with office, clients and architects<br />
<br />-  Strong managerial skills<br />
<br />-  Experience in concrete, framing and finish carpentry<br />
<br />-  Familiarity with computers and ability to use company software</p>
<h3>OTHER REQUIREMENTS</h3>
<p>-  Must be able to work in the U.S. and possess a valid driver&#8217;s license<br />
<br />-  Team player</p>

Designed by <strong>Geoffrey E. Butler Architecture &amp; Planning</strong>, this 10,800 square foot tenant improvement is seeking LEED Platinum certification. The building shell is composed of recycled aluminum via an Aluminum Cladding Material (ACM) system. <p>This project is a renovation of an existing 53,000 square foot building. Designed by <strong>DES Architects + Engineers</strong> of Redwood City, this OSHPD 3 medical center is located on North McDowell Boulevard, in Petaluma.</p>

<p>The community health center provides top quality, economically accessible primary health care, obstetrics and gynecology, mental and behavioral health services and more to residents of Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Cotati and the surrounding areas. The facility includes medical, dental, laboratory, administration offices and a center for healthy living.</p>

<p>The work performed by Midstate Construction Corporation and its subcontractors includes demolition of the existing interior, complete interior tenant improvement buildout, new IT infrastructure and equipment and significant mechanical, electrical and plumbing work. Exterior renovations include ADA upgrades, new energy efficient roofing and window systems, new canopy and site improvements.</p>

<p>Designed by <strong>BAR Architects</strong> of San Francisco, these 11, two and three story structures totaling 80,000 square feet provide 64 units of affordable housing.  Each unit varying from 670 square foot flat to 1,200 square foot townhouse is fully equipped with kitchen and domestic amenities. Additionally, the 3.1-acre site includes a community garden, children’s playground, pedestrian bridge, 2,900 square foot community building, 500 square foot laundry building and scenic walking path along Foss Creek.</p>

<p>Developer <a href="http://www.burbankhousing.org/">Burbank Housing Development Corporation</a> and general contractor <a href="http://www.midstateconstruction.com/">Midstate Construction Corporation</a> achieved certificate of occupancy for Amorosa Village Phase 2, the first completed phase of the new 150 unit affordable housing construction project in Santa Rosa.</p>

<p>Designed by <a href="http://www.hunthalejones.com/">Hunt Hale Jones Architects</a> of San Francisco, these two and three story buildings totaling 65,700 square feet will provide 53 units of affordable housing via six structures. Each apartment varying from 400 square foot studio to 1,300 square foot three-bedroom is fully equipped with kitchen and domestic amenities. Larger units feature laundry facilities. Additionally, the 5.08-acre site includes a community garden, playground, mailroom, laundry facilities and a pavilion. A 2,900 square foot community building is shared with Amorosa Village Phase 1.</p>

PETALUMA, California (March 22, 2011) – Owner <strong>Acacia Lane Senior Apartments, L.P</strong>.and developer <strong>Petaluma Ecumenical Properties</strong> entered into contract with <strong>Midstate Construction Corporation</strong> as the general contractor for the Acacia Lane Senior Housingproject in Santa Rosa, California. Developed in collaboration with the Department of Housingand and Urban Development, <strong>Acacia Lane Senior Housing</strong> is scheduled for commencement in the beginning of April.</p>

<p>The Acacia Lane Senior Housing project will transform 1.32 acres of undeveloped land in east Santa Rosa into an affordable senior living community. The two, three-story buildings will house 44 units ranging from 600 to 730 square feet. These buildings total 37,000 square feet. An onsite, 1,800 square foot community center will be used as community room, library and management office. Additional on-site features include exercise stations, ADA accessible community planters and landscaped walkways.</p>
<p>Designed by <strong>Robert W. Hayes + Associates</strong>; Acacia Lane Senior Housing will apply for GreenPoint rating via the <strong>Build It Green</strong> resource-efficiency initiative. Acacia Lane Senior Housing is projected to far exceed the City of Santa Rosaʼs point requirements for Build It Green certification.</p>

<p>Designed by S<strong>tantec Architecture, Inc.</strong>, this 10,600 square foot tenant improvement occupies one half of the second story at 1383 North McDowell Boulevard in the Redwood Business Center. Work performed includes minor demolition, creation of office suites, kitchen, conference room and large area for multiple workstations. Conference room, reception area and kitchen all feature polished stained concrete. Lighting features are a combination of LED diffused feature spots, and sustainable fluorescent housings, designed by <strong>Fine Lite</strong>.</p>

<p>PETALUMA, California (March 3, 2011) – <strong><a href="http://www.sftoyota.com/">San Francisco Toyota</a></strong> selected <strong>Midstate Construction Corporation</strong> as the general contractor for the <strong>San Francisco Toyota Showroom tenant improvement</strong> in San Francisco, California. Designed as a LEED Platinum project, construction of the new showroom commenced in the beginning of February with an anticipated completion of late summer, 2011.</p>
<p>Designed by <strong><a href="http://www.gebarch.com/">Geoffrey E. Butler Architecture &amp; Planning</a></strong>, this 10,800 sq. ft. tenant improvement isas a LEED Platinum project. LEED design features include plyboo floor area, photovoltaic panels and recycled material usage.  Additional LEED features include bike rack and employee shower to reinforce bike-to-work options and two rain catchers that will supply building water and site irrigation.  The building shell will be composed of recycled aluminum via an Aluminum Cladding Material (ACM) system. LEED design prepared by Sustainable Design Resources, with LEED coordination provided by Design Avenues.</p>
