November 21, 2000 - Midstate Construction increases its personnel

Roger Nelson, President at Midstate Construction in Petaluma, announced additional personnel have been added to meet Midstate's expanding business.

Whe-chin Tom Liu has joined the Estimating Staff. Previously, he worked at the California Department of Transportation, CalTrans as a Transportation Engineer, working on the Los Banos Freeway Bypass Project. Tom completed his BS in Civil Engineering from Tamkang University, Taipei, Tawain and his Masters in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fresno. He and his wife, Angela, reside in Rohnert Park, CA.

Brent Stewart joined Midstate in July of this year as a Project Engineer. He lives with his wife, Melissa in Santa Rosa. He is a graduate from Chico State in the Construction Department.

Gina Vaughn has joined the Accounting Department at Midstate. Recently working in the accounting department at Knowledge Learning Corporation in Petaluma. She lives in Petaluma with her husband, Christian, and two children, Mae and Wyatt

Leah Savala joined Midstate as Receptionist and Project Coordinator. She has just returned to the North Bay after working in the Los Angeles area for the last few years in the Purchasing Department at Worldwide Cosmetics. She resides in Windsor, California.

June 2, 2000 - Zimmerman and Hagele Join Midstate

     Additional personnel are being added to the growing staff of Midstate Construction in Petaluma.

     Victor Zimmerman recently joined Midstate as a project superintendent. Vic was previously a superintendent with BDM Construction Company, Inc. Vic brings nearly thirty years of construction experience to the Midstate team. He has supervised all types of commercial and industrial construction projects such as wineries, schools, warehouses, office buildings and recycling centers throughout California. Vic and his wife, Annette, live with their son in Rohnert Park.

June 2, 2000 - MIDSTATE CONSTRUCTING HOTEL HEALDSBURG

Midstate Construction broke ground on the Hotel Healdsburg project March of this year. The hotel is situated on the Plaza in the heart of Healdsburg at Matheson Street and Healdsburg Avenue.

The new luxury hotel will be a three story building containing 55 hotel rooms, meeting facilities, spa, swimming pool, fountains and extensive landscaping on the ground floor and guest balconies overlooking the Plaza on the upper floor.

Don Roberts and Dan Pyorre are Midstate's Superintendents, Rick Oberdorfer of Healdsburg, is Midstate's Project Manager. The owner is Terranomics Development, the architect is David Baker Associates Architects in the joint venture with Frost / Tsuji Architects. The project completion is scheduled for June 2001.
